Job summary

See You Thru is seeking a part-time, on-site Speech Pathologist in Panania, NSW. You will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for children, adolescents, and adults.

Key responsibilities include developing individualized therapy plans, delivering group and individual interventions, and coordinating care with families and multidisciplinary teams. Documentation for Medicare/NDIS and ongoing professional development are expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold a recognized degree in Speech Pathology.
• Current SPA membership or eligibility.
• Current NSW registration or eligibility.
• Experience with Dysphagia assessment and treatment.
• Ability to work with Medicare and NDIS clients.
• Strong collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams.
• Good organisational skills with a varied caseload.

Job description

This is a part-time, contractor on-site Speech Pathologist role based in Panania, NSW. The Speech Pathologist will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders for children, adolescents, and adults.

Key responsibilities

• Develop individualized therapy plans
• Deliver one-on-one and small-group interventions
• Collaborate with psychologists, occupational therapists, families, schools, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated care
• Prepare clinical documentation and reports for Medicare and NDIS
• Contribute to quality improvement activities and professional development within the practice

About you

• Strong skills in Speech Therapy and the assessment and treatment of Speech and Communication Disorders
• Expertise in managing Language Disorders, including receptive and expressive language difficulties
• Competence in the assessment and treatment of Dysphagia and other swallowing-related concerns, where clinically relevant
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage clients of all ages and collaborate with families and multidisciplinary teams
• Recognized degree in Speech Pathology
• Current membership or eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
• Any required professional registration in NSW
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
• Eligibility to work with Medicare and NDIS clients, including current Working With Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain them
