Job summary

Avina is seeking Speech Pathologists across multiple locations nationally to join our growing multidisciplinary team. This role offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based, person-centred speech pathology services across home, school, clinic and community settings.

New graduates welcome with mentoring; experienced clinicians seeking flexibility and professional development are encouraged to apply. We support supervision, collaboration and career progression within a national organisation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Pathology is required.
• Membership with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligibility) is required.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• Driver’s licence and access to a reliable vehicle for community work.
• Strong communication, clinical reasoning and organisational skills.
• Collaborative and person-centred approach to therapy.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assessments and deliver evidence-informed intervention.
• Support clients across the lifespan with communication, language, social communication and mealtime goals.
• Develop functional, goal-based therapy plans aligned with participant needs and funding pathways.
• Collaborate with families, carers, educators and multidisciplinary teams.
• Manage a varied caseload across community, clinic and/or telehealth settings.
• Participate in supervision, peer collaboration and ongoing professional development.
