Qualifications
- Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent.
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status through Speech Pathology Australia.
- Unrestricted Australian working rights.
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Speech Pathology services across community, clinic, school and telehealth settings.
- Provide assessment, intervention and consultation services to people with diverse and often complex needs.
- Support individuals, families, carers and support teams to achieve meaningful outcomes.
- Mentor and coach developing practitioners.
- Contribute to discipline growth, clinical innovation and service development.

We’re looking for a Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team to help create meaningful change in people’s lives. SAL Consulting is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary team in the Northern Territory, based in Darwin.

You’ll combine direct clinical work with assessment, intervention, consultation and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Desired Skills and Experience
- Degree in Speech Pathology or equivalent
- Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) status through Speech Pathology Australia

- Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening, or the ability to obtain these prior to commencement
- Experience working within at least one relevant funding environment (e.g. NDIS, education, child protection, health, justice or related sectors)
- Experience in working with people with intellectual disability, trauma histories and complex support needs
- Experience in areas such as functional capacity assessments, sensory profiling, cognitive assessments, home and living assessments, equipment prescription and home modifications
- Experience working collaboratively with families, support networks and multidisciplinary teams to achieve outcomes in everyday environments
