You & Me OT is expanding our Speech Pathology team in South East Queensland and invites new graduates or experienced practitioners to apply. You’ll join a multidisciplinary team in community or clinic spaces with flexible work options and ride-along shadowing days to help you decide if mobile/community speech pathology is right for you.

We offer structured support, professional development, and a performance-based package up to $120K, plus a car allowance and ABN options for flexible practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology or related field.
• Current professional accreditation and indemnity insurance.
• Working with Children Check.
• Australian work rights / visa.
• Driver's licence.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Confidence using clinical software.

Responsabilités

• Join a multidisciplinary team of SLPs, OTs and allied health.

You & Me OT is expanding our SLP department in SEQ and we are looking for a (new graduate or experienced) Speech Pathologist that will join our multidisciplinary team.

New to community-based practice?
Not sure if mobile/community speech pathology is the right fit? Come and see for yourself! We offer ride-along days where you can shadow our senior Speechie, meet the team, and experience what a typical day looks like before making the leap.

Our amazing and growing health team comprises of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, and Allied Health Assistants. We also maintain strong ties with our other affiliated organisations that deliver physiotherapy, exercise physiology, dietetics and podiatry.

We are looking for a passionate professional to join our team! Behind the scenes, our marketing, admin and lead generation teams work hard to align your caseload to your interests and strengths to allow you to focus on what you do best, therapy!

We do not operate on a classic 9am-5pm working model. We understand our team has a life outside of their role with us. We recognise and encourage this! We offer flexible hours and collaborative schedule planning to fit to your life needs. At your interview, we’ll talk openly about what works best foryouand how this will work; we understand that it is not a one size fits all model. We have therapists working 10-6pm, 9-5pm, hours schedule around life/family commitments and everything in between.

• A comprehensive induction that continues beyond week one (including a New Graduate/Early Career 12-week program)
• Structured learning pathways to support your growth
• Clinical supervision with our Speech Pathologist Team Lead who has 10+ years’ experience working complex disability, neurodiversity, AAC assessment and prescription.

What you’ll need

• Bachelor (minimum) degree in Speech Pathology or a related field
• Current professional accreditation and indemnity insurance (or ability to obtain)
• Working with Children Check
• Driver’s licence
• Ability to work independently and within a teamConfidence using (or learning) clinical software
• A genuine passion for learning and growth
• Valid Australian work rights or appropriate visa
