Job summary

Hanrahan Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to assess and treat communication and swallowing skills across diverse age groups. You will work within a multidisciplinary team in varied clinical settings, from clinics to schools and telehealth, with a commitment to patient-centered care.

The role supports part-time or full-time hours (minimum 3 days/week) and offers strong professional development, supervision, and career progression within the MedHealth group.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified Speech Pathologist with SPA membership.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence and access to reliable transport.
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector.

Responsibilities

  • Assess participants' communication and swallowing / feeding skills.
  • Provide therapy for a range of ages and clinical areas.
  • Collaborate with our wider multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Key Workers, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Allied Health Assistants.

Our clinicians love to inspire our clients to achieve their goals, whatever they may be! You will...

  • Assess participants' communication and swallowing / feeding skills
  • Provide therapy for a range of ages and clinical areas
  • Collaborate with our wider multidisciplinary team of Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, Key Workers, Behaviour Support Practitioners and Allied Health Assistants.

This can be a full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days/week) position for the successful applicant.

About you
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid drivers licence and access to a reliable motor vehicle
  • Genuine passion for working in the disability sector

  • Current certified practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)
