Job summary

Cornerstone Medical Recruitment is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join an established community-based allied health team in coastal NSW. The role offers flexible working arrangements and a home-based start to your day, servicing adults with NDIS and DVA caseloads.

The position focuses on dysphagia management with a predominantly adult caseload, located approximately 1-1.5 hours north of Sydney. A rewarding, full-time opportunity with supportive admin and flexible hours is available.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Eligibility for membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience.
• Demonstrated practical experience in dysphagia assessment and management.
• Current driver's licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Strong clinical reasoning, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct speech pathology assessments and deliver evidence-based interventions.
• Complete dysphagia assessments and develop mealtime management plans.
• Prepare clinical reports, therapy plans and progress documentation.
• Work with clients presenting with neurological, degenerative and developmental conditions.

Speech Pathologist | Adult Community Caseload

$93,000-$100,000 + Super + Performance Bonus | Flexible Working | Coastal NSW

An opportunity is available for an experienced Speech Pathologist to join an established community-based allied health team in coastal NSW, approximately 1-1.5 hours north of Sydney.

This permanent, full-time position offers a predominantly adult NDIS and DVA caseload, flexible working arrangements and the ability to begin your working day directly from home.

About the Role

Deliver community-based speech pathology services to clients aged 12 years and over across private homes, aged care facilities, group homes and community settings.

The caseload includes neurological conditions, acquired brain injuries, developmental disabilities and degenerative diseases.

Practical dysphagia experience is essential, with clinicians possessing at least 6 months of hands‑on dysphagia experience encouraged to apply.

Key Duties

Salary & Benefits

• Annual salary: $93,000-$99,000 + superannuation.

• Performance bonus: Based around 6 billable hours per day, including eligible client‑related work beyond face‑to‑face appointments.

• Travel reimbursement: $1.01/km, excluding the first 20km travelled daily.

• Home‑based working: Begin and finish your working day from home without daily office attendance.

• Local appointments: Client visits generally arranged within approximately 40 minutes of home.

• Administrative assistance: Dedicated scheduling team coordinates efficient client routes.

• Flexible hours: Arrange appointments, clinical documentation and professional development around your schedule.
