Job summary

Socomec is seeking a Prescription Engineer/Manager for the Pacific region based in North Ryde, NSW, with primary responsibility to influence technical specifications for major projects in data centres and critical power applications. You will build relationships with M&E consultants, end-users and contractors, lead pre-sales activities, and drive specification-based opportunities across the Pacific market.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering and/or electrical trade background.
• Minimum of 2 years specifying in electrical engineering.
• Strong understanding of low voltage distribution and applications.
• Established local network with panel builders, consultants and end users.

Responsibilities

• Influence technical specifications with key stakeholders to generate turnover.
• Develop pipeline with M&E consultants and end users for data centre projects.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to support pre-sales activities.
• Manage Pacific region specification activity and KPI tracking.
