Job summary

MedRecruit Limited is seeking a Specialist Consultant - Surgery for locum cover in Broken Hill, NSW. The assignment runs 22–29 November 2026, with travel and accommodation provided.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
