Job summary

Medrecruit – Broken Hill NSW is seeking a locum medical practitioner for a 7-day cover from 19 to 25 October 2026 at the 98-bed hospital serving the NSW outback.

You must hold current AHPRA registration; travel and accommodation are included, and rates are inclusive of superannuation and casual loading where applicable.

The hospital provides cancer care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services, with recent upgrades and an nearby Royal Flying Doctors base.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
