Job summary

Medrecruit in Broken Hill, NSW, is seeking a locum medical practitioner for 2–8 November 2026 to cover hospital services in a classic outback town. You will join a multi-disciplinary team at a 98-bed facility providing inpatient and outpatient care in oncology, gynaecology, mental health and general medicine.

Travel and accommodation are included, and all rates are quoted inclusive of superannuation, taxes and casual loading where applicable.

Qualifications

• Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

Located in a classic outback town with heaps of personality, this 98-bed hospital is a major referal centre for the region. It provides a range of inpatient and outpatient services including caner care, gynaecology, mental health and general medical and surgical services.

The recent $30-million upgrades and redevelopments have been completed, with an upgraded oncology unit and ambulatory wing reconfiguration. A Royal Flying Doctors Base is also located nearby.
