MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum medical practitioner to cover duties in Young, NSW from 9 to 15 November 2026. The role requires current AHPRA registration and the ability to work in a rural community with on-call overnight duties.

Shifts run 0800–1800 with overnight on-call until 0800. Travel and accommodation are provided, and all rates include superannuation and casual loading where applicable. This historic town offers food, wine, and outdoor activities.

The local health service is a32 bed facility with 21 hospital care beds, 5 maternity beds and 6 day surgery chairs. The full range of community health services include community nursing, allied health and mental health services.

The 24-hour Accident and Emergency Department is equipped with video/telehealth, connecting the team with specialists through the Critical Care Advisory Service. A 26-bed rehabilitation and palliative care service adjoins the facility.
