MedRecruit Limited is seeking a locum medical practitioner to cover multiple shifts in a farming town in the North West of Tasmania. The assignment includes a busy on-call roster and dates spanning 26 May 2026 to 2 January 2027, with a rate of $3300 per day and rates inclusive of superannuation and taxes.

The centre serves about 8000 people and relies on GP VMOs and visiting allied health staff. AHPRA registration is mandatory to practice in this centre.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.

Responsabilités

• Provide medical care during locum shifts and participate in the on-call roster.
• Collaborate with the district hospital and visiting allied health professionals as needed.

Please note that all rates are inclusive of superannuation, taxes, and casual loading, where applicable.

Must have current AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner.

This medical centre provides quality and timely medical care to approximately 8000 people living in the largest district in Tasmania. The practice has the capability for 7 full time GP VMOs who share the on-call roster. The practice is supported by visiting Allied Health, and Registered Nurses to assist with CDM, immunisations and women’s health. The district's Hospital has 12 acute care beds, emergency services, midwifery clinic and visiting specialists.
