HammondCare provides essential home care and dementia support for older Australians, focusing on improving quality of life and independence in the comfort of their own homes.
You will travel to clients’ homes using your own car and receive mileage and travel time compensation, with comprehensive training and employee benefits available.
You'll provide essential, practical care for older people, supporting them to live independently in their own homes and genuinely improving their quality of life. This includes not only day today care but also building meaningful relationships and offering companionship. The role requires travel to clients’ homes using your own car (you'll be paid $0.99 per km plus paid travel time). Being female is recognised as a genuine occupation qualification and is authorised under section 31(2h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977, and so we ask that only Female applicants apply.
You’re a people-person who is patient and solutions-focused
You have previous experience in aged or community care, or are looking to start your career in aged care
You have a valid Driver’s Licence and access to an insured, reliable car (min. Third Party Property Insurance)
Ideally, you'll have a Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support. If you're not currently qualified and would like to be, then we can help
