Job summary

HammondCare in New South Wales is seeking a Home Care Worker to join our not-for-profit team. You will provide care and social support at the Watergum & Beachcomber Social Clubs in Mona Vale and Manly, following each client’s care plan and helping with activities.

Shifts run Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8am to 4pm. A valid Australian Driver's license, WWC check and First Aid are desirable; Certificate III in Individual Support is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Empathy and compassion are essential.
• Ability to communicate professionally with clients and team.
• Strong team player with good documentation skills.
• A valid Australian Driver's license is preferred.
• First Aid qualification is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care in social clubs in Mona Vale and Manly as per each client’s care plan.
• Support social activities and supervise clients during sessions.
• Assist with outings and excursions including dementia care.
• Complete all documentation accurately and maintain confidentiality.
