A leading public gallery in Victoria is seeking a Special Exhibitions Registrar to manage exhibition logistics and ensure the safe handling of artworks. Responsibilities
  • Manage the registration procedures and all logistical aspects related to incoming and outgoing works for exhibitions from national and international institutions and private collections.
  • Coordinate the safe transport, receipt and handling of works of art for the Gallery’s dynamic exhibition program.

Qualifications
  • Strong knowledge of the functions and roles of a major art museum, demonstrated experience in the handling, care and movement of artworks to museum standards, and sound knowledge of Australian and international registration practices and requirements.
