Job summary

Yandelora School in Sydney region is seeking a Teacher Special Education to join our campus serving students with Autism and complex disabilities. You will plan, deliver and assess explicit, evidence-based learning and support personalised communication systems (AAC) and student wellbeing.

The role requires full approval to teach, strong collaboration with families, and the ability to adapt lessons to Life Skills outcomes.

Qualifications

• Approval to teach qualifications and/or experience in teaching primary to year 12 with complex disabilities.
• Ability to plan, deliver and assess high-quality explicit teaching aligned to syllabus and life skills requirements.
• Capacity to implement personalised communication systems (AAC) and trauma-informed practices.
• Experience in communicating with families and engaging them as partners in education.
