Job summary

The Andersen Partnership in Sydney is recruiting a Special Counsel to lead Wills & Estates work within a busy private client team. You will handle sophisticated matters for high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees and executors, across planning, administration and probate.

In addition to practising at a senior level, you will mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the growth of the practice, with a focus on maintaining and expanding client relationships in a national law firm setting.

Qualifications

• Admitted in Australia with 8+ years' PQE in Wills & Estates.
• Strong experience managing complex private client matters.
• Comfortable building and maintaining client relationships.
• Interested in mentoring and developing junior members of the team.

I'm currently partnering with a national law firm looking to appoint a Special Counsel into its growing Wills & Estates team in Sydney.

This is an opportunity to join a well-established practice with a strong reputation for complex private client work, acting for high-net-worth individuals, families, trustees and executors across a broad range of estate planning and estate administration matters.

The Role

You’ll work across a mix of sophisticated wills and estates matters, including:

• Estate planning and succession strategies.
• Complex estate administration and probate.
• Testamentary trusts and asset protection.
• Family provision and estate litigation matters.
• Advising high-net-worth clients, family groups and private businesses.
• You’ll also play a key role mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.

About You

• Admitted in Australia with 8+ years' PQE in Wills & Estates.
