Job summary

Healthscope's Nepean Private Hospital seeks Registered Nurses or Midwives to deliver high-quality neonatal care with strong patient and family communication. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate newborn care in a supportive, safe environment, and collaborate across wards as needed.

Applicants must hold current AHPRA registration, have 2+ years in NICU/SCN, and demonstrate excellent communication and customer service. Immunity requirements apply; hospital-wide team culture is emphasized.

Qualifications

• Current registration with AHPRA.
• Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or Special Care Nursery.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Provide proof of immunity to specified infectious diseases.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care by Assessing, Planning, Implementing and evaluating patient and newborn care.
• Maintain high-quality nursing care in a safe environment.
• Develop strategies to promote effective communication.
• Collaborate with patients and families in care decisions.
• When required, assist on other wards in the Hospital.
