Nepean Private Hospital, part of Healthscope, in Penrith (Western Sydney) seeks a Registered Nurse/Midwife for the Special Care Nursery to deliver high-quality newborn care. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient and newborn care in a supportive team.

You must hold current AHPRA registration and have at least 2 years post-graduate Neonatal/SCN experience, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Formación

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Minimum of 2 years post graduate experience in Neonatal Intensive Care or Special Care Nursery/Newborn Postnatal care.
• Current registration with AHPRA.

Responsabilidades

• Provide quality nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individual patient and newborn care.
• Maintain high quality nursing care within a safe environment according to the individual’s level of experience and education.
• Develop and utilise strategies that encourage effective communication with patients and families.
• Work in partnership with patients and families in decision-making regarding provision of care.
• When required, work on other wards in the Hospital.
