Job summary

HEO Robotics designs and builds high‑performance optical payloads for space. As a Space Electronics Design Engineer, you will tackle electronics challenges, interfacing boards, thermal control, and focal control designs for next gen payloads.

You will work in a fast‑paced, agile environment with a diverse hardware team to engineer reliable electronics for extreme environments, while contributing to the full lifecycle from design through production.

Qualifications

• A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
• 3–5 years hands‑on electronics design across the full hardware lifecycle.
• Experience in small teams or startups and hardware to market.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the full electronics lifecycle from design to production.
• Design interface boards, thermal control and focal control hardware.
• Schematic capture and PCB layouts for high‑speed signals.
• Integrate microcontrollers and image sensors, design wiring harnesses.
• Build automated test rigs to validate PCAs and ensure fault tolerance.
