Twenty20 Tapas Bar and Restaurant is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in day-to-day kitchen operations. This full-time role demands strong culinary skills, leadership, and a passion for food to help elevate the restaurant's reputation while maintaining a positive team environment.
At Twenty20 Tapas Bar & Restaurant we are a fast-paced kitchen with a tapas style menu looking for someone to help take our restaurant to the next level.
Located in Moe we open 7 days a week offering Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef who will play a crucial role in supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of our busy kitchen whilst maintaining the reputation of our restaurant.
Your Role:
Assisting the Head Chef in menu planning, training & operations of the kitchen
Food Preparation
Running the pass during service
Ordering & Stock Control
Complying with food safety standards and hygiene protocols inside & outside of service
Effectively training and mentoring the kitchen team, providing guidance and support as needed
Working with our FOH team to ensure seamless service with a professional & positive approach
Continuously seeking ways to improve kitchen efficiency and productivity
To be Successful You Will Have;
2 years minimum in a Chef/Sous Chef role in a fast paced environment
A passion for creating & cooking food with strong culinary skills
Great leadership skills ready to help create a team and help maintain & provide a positive work environment
This is a Fulltime position with availability of Days, Nights & Weekends being a must.
A Salary of 60-85K depending on what you can bring to the team.
