Job summary

Lumus Imaging is a national diagnostic imaging provider with a passion for caring for health and wellbeing. The team includes radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses, centre support staff and a network of independent radiologists across 2,000 experts and 150 sites nationwide.

The role involves leading and developing sonographer training, delivering CPD, and working within a quality-driven organisation to ensure top-tier patient care and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Sonographer with extensive ultrasound imaging experience (MSK, vascular, general, obstetrics and interventional).
• Experience training beginner sonographers and upskilling more experienced staff.
• Leadership qualities to drive change.
• Experience developing sonographer training programs.
• Experience presenting information through different media and techniques.
• Experience delivering a sonographer CPD program.
• Strong commitment to quality and patient care with ASAR accreditation.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise busy workloads.
• Capable of working independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

Essential:

• Qualified Sonographer with extensive experience in ultrasound imaging; musculoskeletal, vascular, general, obstetrics and interventional.
• Experience in undertaking 1 on 1 training of beginner sonographers, through to the upskilling and providing further growth to more experienced sonographers as well as educating referrers

Employment with Healthcare Imaging Services is conditional on attainment of a Working with Children Clearance and National Police clearance.
