Darling Downs Health is seeking a Senior Sonographer in Toowoomba to deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound and support timely clinical decisions. You’ll collaborate with clinicians, mentor colleagues and contribute to ongoing service improvements across the region.

The role emphasises expert ultrasound care, strong professional judgement and mentoring of students and staff, within a supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current registration with ASAR.
• Accredited postgraduate qualification in medical ultrasound from a recognised institution or professional body.
• Proven ability to manage complex sonography workloads and apply advanced professional judgement.
• Strong communication, teamwork and decision‑making skills in busy clinical environments.

• Partner with medical, nursing and allied health teams to improve clinical outcomes and enhance service delivery.

From providing expert ultrasound care to strengthening capability across the service, you'll work alongside skilled clinicians and contribute to healthcare that makes a real difference across the Darling Downs community.
