Job summary

PRP Imaging is seeking a Sonographer for the Northern Beaches with a focus on obstetric ultrasound. The role supports a part-time schedule across multiple sites, with collaboration among Radiologists, Radiographers, and Practice Receptionists to improve patient access and care.

You will work independently with high-quality imaging, liaising with doctors and staff to deliver accurate reports and excellent patient experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years post qualification Ultrasound experience.
• ASAR accreditation is required.
• Obstetrics focus preferred but not essential.

PRP Diagnostic Imaging offers a comprehensive range of imaging services, through a network of 40 practices across Sydney, Illawarra, Central Coast and the Hunter and Central West. We have a dedicated Radiologist on site every day and the latest brand-new technology including Phillips, GE and Canon Ultrasound, Siemens and GE MRIs. OurNorthern Beachesteam of highly trained Radiologists, Radiographers, Sonographers and Practice Receptionists will participate in a roster working across Dee Why, Frenchs Forest andWarriewood to provide our patients with greater access to our services.

Our Ultrasound team use advanced technology equipment, which has been selected with input from Sonographers. All sites operate in a safe and caring environment. About the Position

Our Northern Beaches practices offers a wide range of ultrasound services, with position having a specific focus on Obstetrics. You will liaise closely with doctors and other medical professional, to ensure high-quality images which enable superior reports, leading to excellent patient outcome. Alongside our team, you will supply excellent customer service, in accordance with PRP values. PRP are investing in technology and process that delivers improvement to reporting service and patient experience, this differentiates us from our competitors and gives our customers the experience they deserve.

About You

With a minimum of three years post qualification experience, you must have a reputation for performing high quality Ultrasound examinations independently whilst providing exceptional patient care. Skills in Obstetrics preferred, though not essential. You must have the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel. In addition, you must have:

• qualification in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound and current accreditation with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• core competencies in General
• demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff and external stakeholders
• a caring and respectful attitude to our patients
• a commitment to excellence
• the capacity to balance workload to ensure timely patient care
