Job summary

YARRA Radiology, a boutique imaging practice with sites in South Yarra and East Melbourne, seeks an experienced Sonographer to deliver high-quality diagnostic imaging while upholding exceptional patient experiences.

You will work closely with radiologists and a multidisciplinary team, providing compassionate care and ensuring accurate results across ultrasound services. This role offers permanent full- or part-time opportunities and a supportive environment that values clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years' experience as a qualified General Sonographer
• Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound/Sonography
• Current ASAR Registration
• Current Working With Children Check
• Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Valid Australian working rights (for overseas applicants)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong commitment to patient-centred care
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to clinical excellence and high-quality imaging

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations with high-quality imaging and accurate reporting.
• Assist radiologists during interventional procedures as required.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-centred care throughout the patient journey.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes.
• Maintain equipment safety and adhere to clinical standards.
