Job summary

Jones Radiology in Adelaide is seeking a skilled and passionate Sonographer who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment. You will enjoy the flexibility of working across a group of clinics in either the Central or South of Adelaide, with occasional weekend shifts dependent on clinic needs and your availability.

In this role you will perform a wide range of ultrasound scans with emphasis on image quality and patient care,

Qualifications

• Current ASAR registration or eligible for registration.
• Post-graduate qualification in medical ultrasound required.
• Willingness to obtain Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Sonographer who is committed to delivering outstanding patient care and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.

You will enjoy the flexibility of working across a group of clinics in either the Central or South of Adelaide. Occasional weekend shifts may be required (depending on the clinic), with the option to pick up additional shifts based on your availability and preferences.

In This Role, You Will

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound scans with a strong focus on image quality and patient care
• Collaborate closely with Radiologists and healthcare professionals to support accurate and timely diagnoses
• Guide patients through their procedures, ensuring comfort and clarity throughout
• Complete imaging documentation and billing accurately and efficiently
• Contribute to a positive team culture built on mutual support and professionalism

Key Requirements

• Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR)
• Post-graduate qualification in medical ultrasound
• Current Working with Children Check and Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain
• Strong technical expertise in a variety of sonographic techniques
• Confidence using imaging software and related technology
• Clear and compassionate communication skills
• A team mindset with a proactive and supportive attitude
• A commitment to high standards of quality, ethics and patient safety
• Strong analytical judgement and decision making skills
