Job summary

South West Radiology in Sydney is seeking a full-time Sonographer for our Minto clinic, delivering high-quality obstetric and general ultrasound imaging. The role emphasizes patient-centred care within a supportive team and a flexible lifestyle with early starts or late finishes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years of sonography experience.
• ASAR registration and Australian work rights.
• Experience in obstetrics and women's imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate patient care upholding privacy and cultural sensitivity.
• Perform ultrasound examinations with emphasis on Women’s Imaging and Obstetrics.
• Assist Radiologist with interventional procedures and advanced scanning techniques.
• Commit to continuing education and upskilling in new ultrasound techniques.

Role:

We are seeking a Full-Time Sonographer who takes pride in patient care to join our team at our Minto clinic. As a Sonographer you will take pride in delivering quality imaging services, in particular in obstetrics but also including all general Sonography services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide compassionate patient care, prioritising patient welfare and confidentiality as well as being culturally sensitive to a wide range of patients in our community.
• Perform ultrasound examinations, producing images of the highest diagnostic quality with an emphasis on Women's Imaging and Obstetrics.
• Assist the Radiologist with interventional procedures, complex scanning techniques, and special ultrasound procedures.
• Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques and advancements.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Prior experience as a Sonographer in General, Vascular, Ob/Gyn and MSK examinations.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of sonography experience.
• Hold the appropriate qualifications in Sonography and possess current ASAR registration.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to high-quality patient-centred care.
