Job summary

Carescan Medical Imaging – North Rocks NSW is seeking Sonographers of all levels for full-time or part-time roles across South West Sydney, Western Sydney, and Hills District. The position offers a mixed caseload and opportunities to learn directly from radiologists.

Ideal candidates will perform obstetric, small-parts, MSK, paediatric, and basic vascular ultrasound, with ASAR accreditation. Roster flexibility and strong patient focus are encouraged.

About the Role

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for Sonographers of all skill levels to join our Carescan Medical Imaging team. Full-time or part-time positions are available at multiple locations (South West Sydney, Western Sydney, and Hills District) for all experience levels. The position is ideal for a sonographer who enjoys a mixed caseload.

This is an excellent opportunity to practice new skills, learn directly from the radiologists, and broaden your skill set.

Desired Attributes:

• This role may require some rostered work weekends.
• Ability to participate in a rotating roster.
• Demonstrated ability to perform all general ultrasound work, including obstetric, small-parts, MSK, paediatric, and basic vascular.
• Willingness to perform a variety of examinations, including nuchal translucency, arterial dopplers, venous mapping, etc. Adequate training will be provided if needed.
• Accreditation with the Australasian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• The ability to work both autonomously and within a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills, strong patient focus and a high level of attention to detail.
