Job summary

Sweeping Corporation of America is seeking an Ultrasound Sonographer to join a Dubbo clinic, delivering high‑quality ultrasound services to the Western NSW region. You will perform a broad range of examinations, work with radiologists for accurate results, and ensure a warm patient experience.

The role emphasizes clinical excellence, teamwork with radiographers and staff, and maintaining image quality and safety standards within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent required.
• ASAR accreditation (or eligibility) required or eligible.
• Confidence across general ultrasound with obstetric/MSK/vascular imaging valued.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills required.

Responsibilities

About the role

You’ll join a close-knit clinic team delivering high-quality ultrasound services to the people of Dubbo and the wider Western NSW region. Your day will include:

• Performing a broad range of ultrasound examinations with care and clinical excellence
• Working closely with our radiologists to deliver accurate, timely results
• Providing a warm, reassuring experience for patients who may be anxious or unwell
• Collaborating with radiographers, reception and support staff to keep the clinic running smoothly
• Maintaining high standards of image quality, documentation and patient safety

About you

• ASAR accreditation (or eligibility) and a Graduate Diploma in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent
• Confidence across general ultrasound. Skills in obstetric, MSK or vascular imaging are highly regarded
• A warm, professional manner and genuine care for the patient experience
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-player attitude
• New graduates with strong clinical placements are encouraged to apply
