Job summary

I-MED Radiology Network in Coffs Harbour is seeking a skilled ultrasound sonographer to join our coastal team. This full-time role involves performing diverse ultrasound examinations, supporting radiologists with interventional procedures, and delivering outstanding patient care.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, enjoy modern facilities, and participate in on-call coverage with work-life balance in a relaxed seaside setting.

Qualifications

• Current ASAR Registration is required.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience across general ultrasound, MSK, obstetric, and basic vascular imaging preferred.
• Patient-centered communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound examinations providing outstanding patient care.
• Assist Radiologists with interventional procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technical staff, administration, and referring clinicians to achieve excellent patient outcomes.
• Contribute to a positive, team-focused workplace culture.

This full-time position reports directly to the Chief MIT and operates Monday to Friday between 8:00am and 5:00pm with flexibility to participate in on-call.

Role Overview

As an integral member of our team, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional patient care while working alongside experienced and supportive healthcare professionals. Your responsibilities will include:

• Performing a variety of ultrasound examinations while providing outstanding patient care and a positive patient experience
• Assisting Radiologists with interventional procedures
• Collaborating closely with radiologists, technical staff, administration teams, and referring clinicians to deliver excellent outcomes for patients
• Contributing to a positive, team-focused workplace culture.

What we're looking for

• Current ASAR Registration
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
