Lumus Imaging is seeking a Sonographer at our Wetherill Park site to deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging with care in a supportive community setting.

You will perform a broad mix of ultrasound examinations, produce clear documentation, and work closely with radiologists and the clinical team to ensure timely results. A postgraduate ultrasound qualification and ASAR accreditation or equivalent are required, with opportunities for ongoing CPD and career development.

Responsabilités

• Perform a wide range of general ultrasound examinations (abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular, MSK).
• Produce accurate images and worksheets to support radiologist reporting.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety and dignity during examinations.
• Collaborate with radiologists, referrers and clinical team to deliver timely results.
• Maintain equipment and adhere to quality and infection control standards.

About the role

As a Sonographer with Lumus Imaging Wetherill Park, you'll deliver high-quality ultrasound imaging with care and professionalism in a supportive community setting. Your day will include:

• Performing a wide range of general ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular and musculoskeletal scans
• Producing accurate, high-quality images and clear worksheets to support radiologist reporting
• Ensuring patient comfort, safety and dignity throughout every examination
• Working closely with radiologists, referrers and the wider clinical team to deliver timely results
• Maintaining equipment and adhering to quality, safety and infection control standards

About you

• A recognised postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound, with current ASAR accreditation or equivalent eligibility
• Experience across general ultrasound; vascular and MSK experience is highly regarded
• A patient-first approach, with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A collaborative team player who takes pride in delivering consistent, high-quality work
