Radiology Tasmania in Launceston is seeking a Sonographer to join our new clinic. We welcome candidates with a range of scanning abilities and offer upskilling opportunities. Roles available as Part-Time or Full-Time (Mon-Fri) to suit candidate preference.

Relocation packages up to $50,000 are offered for interstate moves, with visa sponsorship for ASAR-accredited overseas applicants. This is a modern clinic with a supportive team and up-to-date equipment.

• ASAR registration is essential and ASAR accredited course completed.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are necessary.

Job description

Radiology Tasmania are currently seeking a Sonographer to join the team at our brand new clinic in Launceston. We are open to candidates with a range of scanning abilities, with upskilling available to candidates who may be interested.

The role is available on either a Part-Time or Full-Time (Mon-Fri) basis depending on candidate preference.

Relocation & retention packages worth up to $50,000 are available to candidates relocating from interstate. For ASAR accredited overseas candidates we can also offer visa sponsorship opportunities for this position.

Our clinics are filled with high performing teams and supported with up-to-date equipment within a modern clinical setting, the Radiographer will be responsible for the high-quality imaging our community trusts us to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates.
• Responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis for optimal delivery of results with excellent customer service provisions.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework.
• Provide feedback to other members of the clinic and operational teams to help identify training and development needs.
• Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and /or Regional Manager on growth initiatives for the clinic.

Selection Criteria

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Ultrasound
• Skilled across a broad range of scanning competences
• Hold and maintain current registration with ASAR as well as a completion of an ASAR accredited course.
• Hold and maintain annual liability insurance through the ASA, or equivalent provider.
• A value driven attitude and work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to thrive in our team-oriented environment.
