Job summary

Integral Diagnostics (IDX) is looking for experienced Sonographers in Hobart, Tasmania to join their dedicated Sonography team. The role involves conducting a variety of scans, collaborating with radiologists, and managing patient care. Candidates should have a Graduate Diploma or Masters in Medical Ultrasound and ideally over 2 years of postgraduate experience. A commitment to professional development and interpersonal skills are essential. The position offers a diverse and inclusive working environment.

Qualifications

• Current registration with the Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR).
• Ideally 2+ years postgraduate ultrasound experience.
• Prepared to participate in a rotating weekend on-call roster.

Responsibilities

• Conduct various scans including MSK, vascular, obstetrics and gynaecological studies.
• Ensure rooms are restocked, cleaned, and patients are finalized.
• Collaborate with radiologists and colleagues.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sonographer to join our team at our Hobart clinics. The role is available on either a part-time or full-time basis depending on candidate preference.

Relocation & retention packages worth up to $50,000 are available to candidates relocating from interstate. For ASAR accredited overseas candidates we can also offer visa sponsorship opportunities for this position.

Our clinics are filled with high performing teams and supported with up-to-date equipment within a modern clinical setting, the Radiographer will be responsible for the high-quality imaging our community trusts us to deliver.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with patients, referrers, and teammates.
• Responsive, accurate and timely diagnosis for optimal delivery of results with excellent customer service provisions.
• Ability to prioritise a busy workload and work effectively both independently and within a team.
• Work with clinic teams to identify and proactively deliver on the Health & Safety framework.
• Provide feedback to other members of the clinic and operational teams to help identify training and development needs.
• Collaborate with National Ultrasound Leader, Site Chief and /or Regional Manager on growth initiatives for the clinic.
  
  

Selection Criteria

• Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Ultrasound
• Skilled across a broad range of scanning competences
• Hold and maintain current registration with ASAR as well as a completion of an ASAR accredited course.
• Hold and maintain annual liability insurance through the ASA, or equivalent provider.
• A value driven attitude and work ethic.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that will allow you to thrive in our team-oriented environment.
