Job summary

Epic IT is seeking an Infrastructure & Solutions Engineer to deliver cloud, network, and voice deployments. You’ll own end-to-end projects from Azure VNets to switches in client environments, with hybrid work combining home-based days and office site visits.

The role spans Microsoft 365 administration, Azure, and security, with collaboration from Solutions Architects. Critical thinking and self-direction are valued in this hands-on position.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years hands-on experience in an MSP or similar environment with diverse technical implementations.
• Proven Microsoft 365 administration and migration experience.
• Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, VPNs, firewall rules.
• Hands-on deployment of network hardware — switches, routers, firewalls, APs.
• Experience with VoIP/IP telephony systems, any platform.
• PowerShell scripting for automation — writing it, not just running it.
• Experience with Azure services and Azure Virtual Desktop or a similar VDI platform.

Responsibilities

• Deliver end-to-end Azure infrastructure and M365 deployments.
• Configure enterprise networks: switches, routers, wireless APs, VLANs and VPNs.
• Design secure voice systems and migrate to VoIP/UCaaS environments.
• Implement security best practices and automation scripts for deployments.
• Create runbooks, architecture diagrams, and documentation for migration and rollback.
