Job summary

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to lead ERP and enterprise application modernization for a Federal Government Department. The role focuses on secure, scalable ERP and corporate systems, partnering with business and ICT teams to deliver integrated solutions.

The successful candidate will bring strong architecture design, cloud solution design, and stakeholder engagement skills, with AGSVA Baseline clearance and the ability to obtain NV1.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect or Application Architect.
• Expertise in enterprise app architecture and cloud solution design.
• Experience in Australian Government environments preferred.
• ERP/enterprise app delivery experience.
• ServiceNow exposure is a plus.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and documentation skills.
• Active AGSVA Baseline clearance with ability to obtain NV1.
• Familiar with Technology One, Expense 8, Aurion, Totara.

Responsibilities

Solution Architect – ERP & Enterprise Applications

Contract: Until 30 June 2027 + extension options

Security clearance: Active AGSVA Baseline (ability to obtain NV1)

Bridge IT Engineering is seeking an experienced Solution Architect to support a Federal Government Department in delivering a major ICT transformation program. This role will focus on the modernisation of enterprise applications and corporate systems, particularly Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, ICT teams and program delivery teams to design and deliver secure, scalable and fit-for-purpose technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Design and develop solution architectures across ERP and enterprise applications.
• Review existing cloud and on-premises application environments.
• Develop architecture documentation, technology roadmaps and solution recommendations.
• Provide technical guidance on application integration, governance and security.
• Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to support solution delivery.
• Identify architectural risks, opportunities and improvements.
• Support ICT transformation initiatives within an Agile delivery environment.

Skills and experience required:

• 5+ years' experience as a Solution Architect or Application Architect.
• Strong experience in enterprise application architecture and cloud solution design.
• Previous experience working within Australian Government environments, ideally Commonwealth.
• Experience delivering ERP or enterprise application solutions is highly desirable.
• Exposure to ServiceNow would be advantageous.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and technical documentation skills.
• Active AGSVA Baseline clearance with the ability to obtain NV1.
• Experience with Technology One, Expense 8, Aurion and Totara.
