Job summary

Rex Airlines invites dedicated individuals to join our Cairns-based team as full-time solo flight attendants. You will operate the entire cabin independently, delivering warm, attentive service while upholding safety and regulatory standards on a range of regional routes.

This role offers extensive training and a dynamic work environment with weekends, public holidays, shift work, and occasional nights away from home as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older
• Australian citizen or permanent resident
• Height max 173 cm
• Hold a current Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011)
• RSA certificate (within last 3 years)
• IELTS 5.5 or equivalent English proficiency
• Able to obtain Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
• Able to swim fully clothed without aid
• Flexible to work holidays, peak periods, and various shifts
• Strong personal presentation and customer service mindset

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment and security checks
• Deliver in-flight announcements and food & beverage service
• Conduct cabin cleaning duties and manage in-flight situations
• Provide safe, courteous, and consistent passenger service
