Job summary

Rex Airlines (Regional Express) seeks dedicated individuals to join our Cairns team as full-time solo flight attendants. You will manage the entire cabin independently, ensuring passenger safety and comfort throughout each flight, while delivering personalised service.

Extensive training is provided; you will work weekends, public holidays, shifts with early starts and late finishes, and some nights away from home.

Qualifications

• Be 18+ years old and an Australian citizen or permanent resident.
• Hold a Provide First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011).
• Hold a Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate - completed within the last 3 years.
• IELTS overall grade of 5.5 or higher.
• Able to obtain an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC).
• Be able to swim fully clothed without aid or floating device.

Responsibilities

• Conduct equipment and security checks on board.
• Deliver in-flight announcements and service food & beverages.
• Perform cabin cleaning and manage in-flight situations independently.
• Adapt to varying hours, including weekends, holidays and night shifts.
