Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III, including at least two years of on-the-job training.
• Three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
• Minimum two years of full-time experience as a solid plasterer/renderer.
• Skills: sponge-finish sand cement and acrylic renders, texture coatings, internal set plaster, install corner beads.
• White Card and NSW driver’s licence.
• Must have all relevant tools and a ute/van.

Responsibilities

• Render applications across varied substrates.
• Installation of external corner beads.
• Preparation of works and detailing.
• Preparing, placing and securing corners with mouldings and plaster fittings.
• Mixing and applying coats of plaster, cement and render with different tools.
• Repairing damaged areas and faults using various techniques.
• Creating decorative textures in finishing coats and applying them as required.
