Livingstone Render & Paint on the Sunshine Coast is seeking a solid plasterer/renderer for full-time work. You will join a practical on-site team, applying plaster, render and finishes to walls and ceilings, repairing damaged surfaces, and preparing surfaces for high-quality finishes.

The role requires 1–2 years' experience, ability to work independently or in a team, and a commitment to safe work practices. Local candidates preferred; on-site work location in Caloundra area.

Responsibilities

• Apply plaster, cement render, texture coatings and finishes to walls, ceilings and exteriors.
• Repair, replace and restore damaged wall linings and surfaces.
• Fill, patch and rectify cracks, holes and joints with appropriate materials.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding and priming to ensure quality finishes.
• Identify material requirements and assist with handling and storage of materials.

Overview

Livingstone Render & Paint (LSRP) is looking for full time solid plasterers / renderers to join our team on the Sunshine Coast.

The Role

The successful applicant will be a part of a dynamic, efficient and effective on site team working together as a team to get jobs done efficiently without compromising quality standards. The successful applicant is not only experienced, but also teachable and committed to working as a team according to LSRP’s standards. They take instruction well and are a part of training and equipping on site labourers. As our onsite teams are the forefront of onsite operations, they will be responsible for representing the company well, operate in line with safe work practices and contribute positively to the team culture and site environment, duties will include:

• Apply plaster, cement render, texture coatings, and other finishing materials to walls, ceilings, partitions, and external surfaces.
• Repair, replace, and restore damaged wall linings, ceiling systems, cladding panels, and surface finishes.
• Fill, patch, and rectify cracks, holes, joints, and imperfections using appropriate compounds, fillers, and sealants.
• Prepare work surfaces through cleaning, scraping, sanding, levelling, and priming to ensure quality finishes.
• Identify material requirements and assist with the handling, storage, and preparation of construction materials.

The company office is located in Moffat Beach in Caloundra, and the standard office hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.

• Minimum 1-2 years of full-time work experience as a solid plasterer/renderer. Relevant trade qualification is preferred but not required.
