Solicitor / Associate - Insurance lawyer

Our client is one of Australia's largest and vastly growing law firm with a leading reputation.They prioritise personal growth and career objectives, while connecting you with highly skilled and motivated professionals. Their Sydney office is now looking for a Associate / Senior Associate level lawyer to work in their Insurance team.

About the role

We are actively seeking an Associate / Senior Associate with expertise in Insurance law to join a well regarded Sydney specialist team.

This rewarding role offers exceptional career opportunity for advancement and growth, working alongside professionals who share similar goals in a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage directly with clients, managing relationships and delivering tailored legal advice
• Receive guidance and mentorship from leading experts in the insurance law field
• Develop expertise in insurance advisory work, including regulatory and compliance matters
• Provide support on complex coverage analysis, including liability assessments and issues relating to non-disclosure or misrepresentation
• Assist insurers with the resolution of claims disputes, investigations, and complaints

About you

You will have 4+ years PAE with experience in insurance law with a ‘can do’ approach and a team player attitude.

Additionally, you will have:

• Strong analytical skills to interpret expert reports, contracts, legislation, and regulatory materials
• Ability to draft clear, concise written communications and explain complex legal concepts in plain, accessible language
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with clients and other stakeholders
• Genuine interest in building a career and expanding professional networks within the general insurance sector
