You will provide high-quality legal advice, manage probate and estate administration, and guide clients through estate planning. The role offers autonomy within a supportive team, with opportunities to grow alongside the firm.

Qualifications

• Admitted as a solicitor in Australia with NSW practising certificate.
• Substantial post-admission experience, ideally at senior solicitor level.
• Experience in Wills & Estates is highly regarded; other areas welcome.
• Excellent drafting, communication and client management skills.
• Ability to manage matters independently with sound professional judgment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to exceptional client service.
• Proactive, collaborative approach with growth mindset for the firm.
• Experience using LEAP is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality legal advice and manage client matters independently.
• Advise on estate planning, wills, testamentary trusts, POA and guardianships.
• Manage probate and estate administration matters.
• Advise on estate disputes, including family provision claims.
• Draft legal documents and correspondence.
• Conduct client conferences and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with Principal Lawyer and support team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a capable solicitor looking to take ownership of their work, develop meaningful client relationships and enjoy the benefits of working within a small, specialist practice. Depending on your experience, your responsibilities will include providing high-quality legal advice and managing client matters independently.

Key responsibilities

• Providing high-quality legal advice and managing client matters independently
• Advising clients on estate planning, including Wills, testamentary trusts, Powers of Attorney and Enduring Guardianships
• Managing probate and estate administration matters
• Advising on estate disputes, including family provision claims and contested estates
• Drafting legal documents, correspondence and advice
• Conducting client conferences and maintaining strong client relationships
• Working collaboratively with our Principal Lawyer and experienced support team

About you

• Admission as a solicitor in Australia and eligibility to hold a current NSW practising certificate
• Substantial post-admission experience, preferably at a senior solicitor level
• Experience in Wills & Estates law is highly regarded, although applicants with strong experience in other practice areas are encouraged to apply
• Excellent drafting, communication and client management skills
• The ability to manage matters independently and exercise sound professional judgment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to exceptional client service
• A proactive, collaborative approach and a genuine interest in contributing to the growth of the firm
• Experience using LEAP legal practice management software will be advantageous
