Job summary

DS Electrical and Ac Services Pty Ltd – Chinchilla QLD is seeking electricians to join our team for solar farm projects in Baking Board. Accommodation is subsidised and a valid QLD electrical licence is required.

Applicants should have a Certificate III and at least two years of experience, or a relevant Certificate IV, plus one year post-qualification experience. Tools and driver licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have: own hand tools and a valid QLD electrical licence.
• Must have or be willing to obtain: High Voltage Switching.

Responsibilities

• Terminating and connecting cables.
• Using electrical testing instruments for fault finding.
• Identifying and rectifying faulty wiring and defective parts.
• Conducting compliance tests of circuits.
• Installing solar power systems and testing to ensure correct functioning.
• Making changes to electrical control systems, equipment and wiring as required.
• Other tasks as required.

DS ELECTRICAL AND A/C SERVICES PTY LTD are a well-established company working within

the Solar Farm Operation and Maintenance sector within Central Queensland, Darling

Downs.

We are looking for electricians to join our team to work on our Solar Farm projects in Baking Board, postcode 4413. Accommodation will be subsidised.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for team members that have anextensive knowledge of rules and regulations, arehighly motivated and have a focus on producing high quality work.

The successful applicant will:

Be motivated and have excellent work ethic.

Have a relevant Certificate III and at least two years’ of work experience or relevant certificate

IV.

One year of post-qualification work experience.

Applicants must:

• o Posses:
• Their own hand tools.
• A valid QLD electrical licence.
• A valid full driver licence.
• A construction white Card.
• Low Voltage Rescue/ Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation training.
• Provide first aid in an ESI environment training.
• Licence to preform high risk work.
• o Posses or be willing to obtain:
• High Voltage Switching.

The successful applicant will:

• (a) Devote the whole of your time, attention, and skill during normal business hours and at such other times as may be reasonably necessary to the performance of your duties and responsibilities.
• (b) Faithfully and diligently perform your duties and responsibilities and exercise such powers as are:
  • i. consistent with the position of electrician; and
  • ii. assigned to you by the Company.
• (c) Promote the interests and commercial reputation of the Company; and
• (d) Conduct yourself in accordance with the commercial and ethical standards commensurate with your position as electrician.
• (e) Complete tasks including:
