Job summary

Hielscher Electrical and Communications, a Cairns-based company, is seeking an experienced electrician to join their solar energy team. The role focuses on solar and battery installations, switchboard upgrades, testing and fault finding, and mentoring apprentices.

Ideal candidates have a current QLD Electrical Licence, SAA accreditation, CPR/LVR, a White Card, and at least 2 years of domestic or commercial experience.

Qualifications

• Current QLD Electrical Licence is required.
• Current Driver Licence is required.
• SAA Accreditation required.
• CPR/LVR certification required.
• White Card required.
• Working at Heights certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Good understanding of Australian Standards and Ergon Energy requirements.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in domestic and/or commercial electrical work.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Responsibilities

Hielscher Electrical is a locally owned and operated Cairns business specialising in solar and battery installations across the Cairns region.

We're growing and are looking for an experienced electrician to join our team.
