Job summary

SunSmart Sunshine Coast is seeking an experienced Solar and Battery Installer to join our Warana-based team. You will install and maintain residential and commercial solar and battery systems across the Sunshine Coast region, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

In this full-time role, you’ll work four days a week with a strong focus on customer service, teamwork, and on-site problem solving, while mentoring apprentices where required.

Qualifications

• Current Electrical Work Licence.
• SAA Accreditation for Solar & Battery Design and Install.
• Minimum 4 years experience in installation and maintenance of residential/commercial solar and battery systems.
• Strong knowledge of solar & battery power system design and installation techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical job cards.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• A current driver’s licence and reliable transportation.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work at heights and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a team to ensure all projects are completed to a high standard and on time
• Maintain detailed records and documentation for each installation where applicable
• Mentor apprentices where required
