Job summary

AusNet Services Ltd. is seeking an Installation Support Specialist – Renewables Integration to provide expert technical support to Victoria's solar and battery installers.

You will handle real-time phone support, investigate issues, and guide customers through connection requirements, commissioning, interoperability and compliance. The role is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position based in Southbank, Melbourne, with a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical assistance to solar installers or renewable energy projects.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Ability to manage cases from inquiry to resolution with accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert phone and case-management support to solar and battery installers on connection, commissioning, testing and compliance.
• Investigate and resolve complex enquiries related to applications, system registrations and dynamic operating requirements.
• Manage cases end-to-end with clear communication and stakeholder engagement.
• Act as a subject matter expert, providing coaching and troubleshooting to build team capability.
• Collaborate with installers and internal teams to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
• Identify process improvements and support service quality and compliance targets.
