Job summary

Adactin is seeking a full-time Software Tester based in Parramatta, NSW. The role involves workshops to define testing inputs, developing test cases, executing functional tests, and validating features against requirements within project sprints.

You will work with Business Analysts and SMEs to translate requirements into test scenarios and coordinate defect management with developers, including familiarity with Guidewire as an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and executing functional testing across ST, SIT and UAT.
• Ability to translate requirements into test scenarios with input from the business/SMEs.
• Knowledge of defect tracking and reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in workshops to provide testing inputs and assess effort.
• Write and execute test cases, document results, and report defects.
• Plan and perform functional testing across project sprints (ST/SIT/UAT).
• Coordinate with developers to validate features meet requirements.
• Monitor defects and retest as needed; communicate progress.
• Contribute to Sprint Review, Retrospective and Planning sessions.
• Collaborate with BA/SMEs to understand and refine test scenarios.
