Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join the Global Product and Solutions team in Belrose. You will test high-quality software for warehouse automation projects, working at the intersection of software, hardware and robotics.

Based in Belrose, you will develop and execute test plans, coordinate testing activities, and travel across the Asia Pacific region during site commissioning. Join a global leader delivering end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years Software Test Engineering experience.
• A Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• Solid understanding of .NET, C# and SQLServer.
• Experience developing Test Automation and using scripting languages (Ruby, Python).
• Experience testing software solutions in mechatronics/robotics/automation domains.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• MS Office knowledge; understanding of OHS requirements.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites across APAC (up to 2 months).
• A friendly and cooperative attitude.

Responsibilities

• Writing and executing test plans.
• Coordinating Factory and Site Testing Specifications and reports for assigned projects.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Plan and coordinate all testing activities.
• Provide leadership to other team members.
• Assist IT Engineering group for customer support as required.
• Provide product expertise to support the sales process as required.
• Follow Dematic development quality processes and procedures.
• Contribute to improvement of software testing processes.
• Support development team processes to improve product testability.

WHAT YOU WILL BE WORKING ON

• Writing and executing test plans
