Dematic Pty. Ltd. (ILD-AUS) is seeking a Software Test Engineer to join the Global Product and Solutions team, based in Belrose.

You will test high-quality software that controls complex warehouse automation systems, working across software, hardware, and intelligent machines. You’ll develop and execute comprehensive test plans, travel within the Asia Pacific region for site commissioning, and contribute to test strategy improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years Software Test Engineering experience.
• A Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
• A solid understanding of .NET, C# and SQLServer.
• Experience developing Test Automation and using scripting languages e.g. Ruby, Python.
• Experience testing software solutions in the mechatronics/robotics/automation domains.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• A sound knowledge of MS Office applications.
• Willingness and availability to travel to customer sites across APAC up to 2 months at a time.
• Australian Work Rights: PR/Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Writing and executing test plans.
• Coordinating Factory and Site Testing Specifications and reports for assigned projects.
• Participate in code reviews.
• Plan and coordinate all testing activities.
• Provide leadership to other less experienced team members.
• Provide assistance to the IT Engineering group for customer support as required.
• Provide product expertise to support the sales process as required.
• Follow the Dematic development quality processes and procedures.
• Actively contribute to the improvement of software testing processes.
• Take an active role in the development team processes to improve product testability.
• Contribute to a development environment that fosters technical excellence and teamwork.
