Job summary

HII Mission Technologies is offering a 2027 Software Engineering Internship at our Columbia, MD location. You will work onsite five days a week supporting Minotaur, our mission management system used across surveillance aircraft, and gain hands-on experience in the full software lifecycle.

The program targets rising juniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Software/Electrical/Computer Engineering or related fields, with exposure to C5ISR systems and related technologies.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline related to software, electrical or computer engineering.
• Active progress toward degree with a substantial portion of required credits completed.

Responsibilities

• Support Minotaur—our mission management system used across manned and unmanned surveillance aircraft.
• Assist in design, implementation, integration, and testing of software features.
• Collaborate with engineers and other interns on real-world projects and milestones.
