Job summary

Alegeus is seeking a Software Engineer II to lead design and architecture for an enterprise fintech/healthtech application. You will work closely with leadership and an Agile team to deliver secure, scalable software.

The role requires 3-5 years in software development, strong C#, RESTful services, SQL Server, and OO design. You will participate in on-call rotations and contribute to continuous improvement while mentoring teammates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 3-5 years of software development experience with web apps.
• Strong knowledge of C#, RESTful services, and SQL Server.
• Experience with Agile teams.
• Knowledge of .NET Core and OO design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and architecture for an enterprise application within the product line.
• Collaborate with engineers, QA, and product owners to deliver high-quality software.
• Develop, test, and maintain software applications and components.
• Research on-call escalations and respond within 2-3 hours.
• Write technical specifications and documentation.
• Mentor peers to improve team efficiency.
